PhD Research: Materalising the early motherhood experience through textiles practice

The focus of my Phd is to materialise matrescence through textiles practice. This involves not only exploring motherhood through making and the things made, but also reflecting on the experience of making during and in motherhood - acknowledging the ways that making and caring become interwoven for an artist-mother.
